Fantastic creature 19: Irish Unicorn

length: 3.5 meters long
height: 2 meters at the shoulders
weight: females 750kg, male 800kg
common? Ireland and Scotland

About the size of a shire, the Irish unicorn is the largest species of horse in the world
Its known for its iconic horn on its head, peacefull nature and the ability to heal.

reality
Just lik the shire, unicorns are muscular and robust with thicc bones and massive muscles.
They do have long manes, long tails and even soms hair around their feet.
To hold its heavy head, unicorns have a massive neck with large nekbones (just like the titanosaur: isisaurus)

the horn?
Despite its a horse with a horn, its skull is quite unique.
Just like the pronghorn, unicorns can shed and regrown its horn each year.
Its long, powerfull and oval shaped. perfect to atract mate, show off to rivals and stab predators.
When males fight, they clash their horns on the side, not swinging it like a sword.

Thank to their massive necks, they rather swing their head around, rather putting force to the horn.
If it breaks, it will grow back in a phew months.
