Phhhhhhf, I don't remember about the flash, but it is quite possible that I used my SB-600 speedlight for this.

OH my, he reminds me of my Tux who by the way is also a climber! When I first saw him, he was swinging in the tree branches!

Awwwwww... We've tried everything to keep our kitties in a smaller part of the garden at night (they are both so scared of other bigger cats, and one is a terrible bully too). We have a completely fenced in area consisting of wire mesh with overhangs inwards at the top - and still my little Molly finds her way to get over the obstacle!!!! She's more like a monkey than a feline - we watched her this morning and she even dangles mid-space and just moves along using her front paws and her teeth until she gets to the edge, then hauls herself up until she can creep over it onto the fence 18" behind!
During the day we open the gate so that they can get into the rest of the garden and beyond, but we first erected all this when Molly kept disappearing.. At least now she doesn't seem to do that any more!

Oh dear; cats really DO have a way of finding a way out when they really want to.
