You must keep your tank walls pretty clean, it looks like you took this from inside the tank.
Cut little guys hehe

Wow this is a really nice shot. I can't believe the photo turned out so clear even though it was taken through thick glass. Stunning shot. Looks like the fish are excited to see you and are fighting for your attention. I like how the fish look like they're smiling and the fish on the far right has his mouth open like he's saying "Oh". Cool shot and I even like the sparkles in the background to.

You're very welcome. It always annoys me when people comment with one or two words. Alot of people on Deviantart are extremely talented, including you of course, and I think the least people could do is explain why they like a photo.

Quite so; I feel that way too. Sometimes one just seens 500 comments on a picture already, then you wonder whether the author has the time to wade through all the comments. Then I usually just favourite it without saying anything. Is that bad?

Eh, I do that sometimes too. I figure if they have that many comments already (unless it's an older submission that hasn't been commented on in a while) then they'll probably never read it anyway.

It's the Gimme More Food chorus. Haaargh, the camera saga... I had endless issues with the Nikon D200 and for the money paid, it wasn't giving me delirious joy I was craving. So... back it went; the shop returned it to Nikon who in turn refunded me in its entirety (without a word as to what faults they might have found). Now I opted for the Nikon D70s - only 6 megapixels, and NOT what I had originally wanted to get, but since I have a bagful of Nikon glass... what could I do? At least I have some spare change in pocket to blow on MORE lenses, haaaha.

Well !!! Let me tell you - long pause for dramatic effect - we are a two-camera-system household. My husband bought what I'd actually been dreaming of (but didn't go for due to my Nikkor lenses) : the new Canon EOS 30D. It's a magic piece of equipment and with his 60mm micro lens pops perfect pictures straight from camera.
Sadly that 60mm is the only decent lens he's got for it, but I'm drooling over getting the Sigma 12-24mm (not a cheap one!)
My Nikon lenses include a really sharp Sigma 28-70 F/2:8 which delivers brilliant images.
Then I've got the kit 18-70mm which does okay and has the wider angle but is blown away for clarity by the Sigma.
My 'holy grail' is the 60mm macro Nikkor, a real diamond, this one. Then I've got a plastic-housing Nikkor 75-240mm; found in a strange little 2nd hand place and it's a bit slow but really not too bad at all.
I have a fixed 28mm manual, a 55mm Nikkor macro manual with PK13 extension ring (wonderful for REAL close work) and a 3rd party 80-300 zoom which is cr*p.
Am about to go look at your sigpras link right now. Never heard of it before.

Is it really "Parrot Fish" ??? Heeeeheeeee! That's a very funny equivalent you draw - I wonder if they get blocked tear ducts too.
