He turned his face quickly to see what happens and then he see the vague gaze on her face and spat wat happen and she turns to face him, yet with that vaghe mocking grin and just say softly about Axel thinking she's a lesbian. and Daryl stared at her with a mix of puzzle and sudden strain. she shrugs and release another laugh at his expression, looking again to the front. He still stares at her, waiting some... explication?. he doesnt know why but he HAS to know. he needs to. and then, seeing she doesnt say nothing he spat again something like 'would ya care to explain' and she look at him again, little puzzle now, she doesnt expected him wanting to know. hell she doesnt even think he would ask, she was just laughing with herself. He's waiting, she see, staring at her directly, and then Carol just say simply 'Axel is a convict. he doesnt see a woman in a long, loong time. doesnt know shit about woman hairstyles, too' (or something like that). She smiles barely at him, and then return to watch ahead. then suddenly she hears him release a mocker snap with his tongue (like pff), back a glance to him and see his expresion and hears him muttering 'asshole'. She start to laugh low.

at the beginning i just wanted him to EXPLODE out all his feelings about Carol's supposed death, but then i accepted he is not that kind of person, and i love he's different from the others. I love their sutil and special relationship. Also he wanted to remain control of himself, the group (and mostly Rick) needed him okay. And then the moment when he finally LET HIMSELF pour all his held feels I just died cause i was kind of waiting that moment :3
