Description
After numerous reports of missing children, Batman remembers that he was almost kidnapped by a scary-looking woman after the death of his parents if it wasn't for the young Jim Gordon and his men's interference. They tried to arrest her who believed to be involved in the murder, but she has vanished. The only thing that left her was her wig. As Bruce Wayne, he encountered with Holly Evans, who was a friend of his father: Dr. Thomas Wayne, and the one who told him that the mysterious woman who tried to kidnap him was a witch. Unlike other witches that he faced like Circe, Morgana Le Fay, and Enchantress, they are demonic creatures from an unknown origin who has bald heads with wig rashes, long warty claws, toeless feet, blue tongues, and purple eyes, and their main motivation is to eliminate all the children from the face of the earth. Their leader is The Grand High Witch, who was hunt down by Holly after one of her followers trapped her childhood friend in a painting, but she never found her. She brought her grandson: Luke to Gotham after his parents died in a car accident. Bruce felt sympathy for the boy as he also lost his parents at his age. A couple of days later, they were invented for a charity of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children at the Iceberg Lounge that was ochestrated by a mysterious, but beatiful young woman named Eva Ernst, and it was approved by Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot AKA the Penguin. However, Batman discovered that the charity is actually a convention of the Witches of America, and Miss Ernst turned out to be the infamous Grand High Witch by revealing her true grostestic corpse-like appearance. But unbeknownst to him, Luke was also there, and he witnessed the whole thing. It was too late for Batman to save Luke and Bruno (a rich, fat boy who Luke befriended earlier), who have turned into mice. They almost got killed until the Penguin and his goons accidentally discovered their true selves, which caused Batman (alongside the mice) to escape. The Penguin didn't mind about their agenda, and he decided to help them. The Grand High Witch accepted his partnership since she needed the most notorius criminal of Gotham to deal with the Dark Knight, and Penguin is the right choice because the others are too unstable or they're interested in murdering children. They tried to offer Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn, but they turned them down. However, Penguin has other plans for the Grand High Witch. They went to Holly about the incident, but much to their surprise, she already knows about Batman's secret identity. They went to the Batcave to make a plan to get the formula 86 so Zatanna can perform an antidote and stop the witches and the Penguin from wiping out the children of Gotham, then the world.
