Cheers! i use lead strips to keep the stencil tight to the canvas, works a treat.

what do you mean lead strips? any chance you can give me an example? I have such trouble keeping the edges against canvass. and what type of material do you use to cut your stencils out of... I love your work. hope you dont mind me asking questions! all of your work is just so incredible...

I cut flat roofing lead into strips like these lead[link]

Roofing lead (here's a pic [link] )comes in flat rolls and is usualy used to seal around the chimney of a roof. So you could try construction sites for offcuts. Cheers! always happy to share any info
