My first crossover fan art of Alien and Futurama, and my first drawing to use such detailed interior designs for starships. This drawing is what inspired me to write my first Futurama (and Alien) fan fiction "Alien Vs. Planet Express".[link]

That's a terrific drawing. TONS of detail (hours worth?), even some reflections in the deck. Funny thing -- a few minutes ago I just happened to notice my "Alien" DVD on the shelf and thought I ought to watch it again one of these days.

I guess an hour is accurate not counting the times I glanced at the TV... T was watching the movie when I came up with the idea. I started drawing after they landed on the planetoid and finished it sometime near the end in the shuttle.
