Description
I went to Minsmere Nature Reserve (where they're filming springwatch this year), on the east coast a while back. They have a few bitterns there but they are usually extremely difficult to see - I still remember going there as a child and not having much luck spotting them! But when I last went we had this amazing sighting! And I was able to wade in my boots under the main hide, to a special photographers hide that gave a better low angle for shots, across the water!
