So this wasn't meant to be coloured so early, I've still to finish my xmas card but I went babysitting the other night so I thought I'd print it out and use my primsacolor pencils since I haven't used them in soooo long. Then I ended up staying over night cause the mom got stuck in glasgow so I pretty much got this finished over the time I had there.
I really need to practice with my pencils more, there's lil bits here and there that have went over the lines and some of the lines are lighter now so I need to get out an inking pen and go over the lines again, but I'm scared I'll totally slip and ruin the pic so I thought I'd scan it in as is.
I hate scanners and eating of colours >< I think I got it looking as good as I can playing with the settings. And it wasn't until I'd coloured most of the skin that I realised Helios' ear is way too small, so I need to fix it in the lineart for it and reupload it. So not gonna colour it again anytime soon though so his ear will have to stay small in the coloured version.

Thanks so much, I just wish I had checked out her proper colour scheme for the fuku first, but I quite like it coloured like this. Maybe in the future I'll print another one and do it with just the pink colours she's meant to have.

Oh cool! Her fuku is similar to Sailor Moon's Eternal fuku from Sailor Stars! I didn't realise that the first time. That's so clever.

Yeah, I'd never tried drawing an eternal fuku before so I wanted to give it a shot. I really like it, I just wish I'd found out the proper colour scheme before I coloured it but I was running late to babysit and didn't have time. Maybe I'll colour it as her proper colours one day when I have some free time. I quite like the variety of colour in this one though.
I'm really sorry I've been so behind with all my art and requests. I'll hopefully be back on track with all that once xmas has passed and things have calmed down once again. Great thing about deciding to try and ink this picture was that I found Paint Tool Sai and figured out the lineart ways of it so I'm definetely gonna be looking forward to inking things alot more, I used to dread it cause it took so long just to do the lines but with the curve tool in sai it's so much easier to do and edit. I've only got a limited number of trial days left, but once xmas has passed and I get a lil more money I'm definetely gonna buy the full version of it, I'm sure it wasn't too expensive but I've just got so many things planned until xmas that require money.

Yes I definetely think it is gonna be my new year's resolution. I hate that I haven't been drawing much lately cause I've had so many ideas I've wanted to put on paper that just haven't made it there yet and with it just getting busier and busier as it gets closer to xmas I'm sure my drawing time will probably go down even more, although how it can I don't know.
Everything art wise has been pushed to the back of my to do list, even just getting on here and dealing with messages again. I try my best to answer all the comments as soon as possible but I have a journal and deviantwatch list almost 400 long on each so I'm missing so much with you guys art and life wise and I hate missing out on it since I truly think that alot of people here are my friends and I don't wanna lose touch with anyone.
Anyway, I need to go. It's almost midnight and I'm up early tomorrow to meet mom in town and then we've got the cinema tomorrow night at 8.30 to see New Moon and then it's straight to bed after it cause we're up at 4am on sat to drive down to birmingham to go to memorabelia. Gonna be a busy and expensive weekend so I proabably won't be online again properly until sun or mon.
I'll really try and get some of your requests done before New Year if I can find a spare 5 mins and actually get the drawings to go the way I plan. I really am eternally grateful to your patience, I just hope you like the pictures once I finally get them done.
