Oh, I've been a strong supporter of the Inuyasha x Deidara pairing for almost three years! My friend and I have written 3 fanfictions about the pair (all in a series, it's kind of my pride and joy) and the third "Something Worth Fighting For" tells the story of how Deidara overheard Inuyasha telling Kagome that he would have liked to have a child, but that won't ever happen since he and Deidara are both men. So Deidara uses transformation jutsu to make himself into a woman for a night with the excuse of "mixing things up a bit" and thus becomes impregnated with Inuyasha's child (of course he can revert back to male form during the pregnancy with the exception of the womb where the infant is growing) anyway, they went through an epic adventure, defying a religious organization (a kind of precurser to the Akatsuki) who plan to purge the world of demons and their spawn (including then Inuyasha and his unborn child)

Lol, Inuyasha's a good dad, he's just kinda... well overprotective isn't the word for it... he's the dad who wants his daughter to have her own sword but not a boyfriend. Of course Deidara's the opposite, he couldn't be happier that there are boys in the village that like her, but she's a fraid that she will be lured into a lfe of danger and violence if she gets a weapon. He doesn't want what happened to him to happen to her.

But reading your story (What if) makes me think that I seriously need to read Inuyasha. I've seen a few episodes when visiting my grandparents in Japan but the I still don't know the difference between some characters

I'm not really a Naruto expert tho. I started reading the manga mid last year and am (finally) up do date. I've seen about 15 episodes, trying to get more of Deidara and Sasori (I love their voices XD) But I gave up XD (I gave up just before Sasori's appearance. Oh well)
