Background / History:
Captured by slavers in Soweto as a teenager and sold off to Gen-Dyne industries to be used in their illegal genetic experiments on humans. Denbe was subjected to experiments consisting of gene-splicing combined with a mix highly potent steroids, growth hormones and other chemicals.

Though one of the few subjects not to be horribly disfigured or out right die from the procedures, Denbe’s body underwent significant changes. His height, weight and mass increased dramatically. His skin transformed to a hardened substance resembling rhinoceros hide. The knuckles of his hands are covered in a super-hard hide-like material to protect them when he punches.

In time he escaped and fled to America where he was found by Arbalest in a illegal, underground fighting league.
