Ai! I have to leave in like, five minutes, but I wanted to upload this first. It's been the day's project between errands. Kind of a celebratory I-finished-my-first-draft-kindof picture. Griff behaves for me much better when drawn than when written, but he's still got hope.Kind of dark for a celebratory picture...and I actually had Alphonse Mucha in mind when I started the lineart, though I got lazy/overeager to color immidiately before I lost interest. Go figure.
Lineart on tracing paper, which, even with all its faults, I love. Color digital with paper from the amazing
(C) myself blah blah blah.

I really like the pose here as I find (at least for me) flying pegasus are especially difficult to draw. Plus the wings balance out the piece with the hind end of the horse.
