I prefer not to go through DA for prints as they pocket a lot of the customer and the artist's money for themselves. But, i would be delighted to do prints of these for sale outside of DA if people are interestedI've always been rather familiarized with Adobe Photoshop, but over the summer i took it upon myself to finally dabble in Illustrator. I LOVE it. If i could do nothing but vectoring for the rest of my life i would die happy. I have a Digital Illustration class this semester and despite being at 9 in the morning, it's a blast (when it's not boring as hell basics)
I guess my other love right now is Soul Eater. I play more video games than i do anime, so it's been a while since i was SO head-over-heels with a series. But oh god right now it's Soul Eater, SO GOOD.
I love Shinigami-sama, he's so silly. But then after seeing episode 24 bricks were shat, scary-version Shinigami is so very badass
So i felt like making just a quick silly fun little fanart

Shinigami-sama is seriously one of my favorite characters, not just because he's ridiculous, but because he's ridiculous AND hardcore and I love the transition from his younger self to the older, more silly version.
As for the art, though this is old news for you, heh, I love it. The composition is amazing and I love the poses of both younger and older. Love it!

I fucking love this. So fucking much. The composition and the diagonals makes me cum all over.
One thing though, your black looks like 100% (thus faded) on my screen, you should back the black with 100% of all the colors so you get a deeper, richer black. If you intend to print this, you will want to use True Black (I can't remember the values off the top of my head).
Please please please keep doing this style! I love it and I think you have some fantastic potential in the medium.
