"Celestia. Are you certain of this?"

The dream realm was not the Solar Goddesses domain; Celestia knew that much at least. But her sister had called her here, and so she had come - the question caught her off guard, and for a single, fleeting moment, Celestia found that she couldn't form the words to give her younger sister an answer; but the moment passed, and the Goddess of the Sun spoke, "Yes. I'm certain of it."

The Goddess of the Moon looked down at the little colt who slept peacefully on the pillow; completely innocent and ignorant of his origins. Her deep, midnight blue eyes looked from the dark grey coat, to the pitch black mane, and finally, the horn that rested atop the colts forehead. It looked just like any other newborn unicorn's horn did, save for the small, but huge difference; the colts horn was slightly curved. Although a small part of her sighed with relief when she saw no tint of red at the tip. But then her eyes found the tiny wings folded tightly at the colts sides.

"What shall we do, sister? If this foal is related to Sombra.." Luna noticed the slightest flicker of hatred flash in her older sister's eyes, but she ignored it.

Celestia sighed, "Regardless of his parentage; he is just a foal. He is innocent of Sombra's crimes. He does not deserve to be punished for something that wasn't his fault." She said.

At her voice, the Colt stirred, and blinked open his eyes. Luna's ears flattened against her skull, when those familiar blood red eyes landed on her. For a second, the whites of the colts eyes flashed a sickening green, but it lasted for mere seconds before the white returned. The colt yawned, and settled back down.

"Luna?"

The Goddess of the Moon took a moment to steady herself before responding; "I - I apologise. His eyes -"

Celestia gently placed a hoof on the baby's forehead, and the colt smiled in his sleep, revealing two tiny fangs.

'He is not Sombra.' Luna reminded herself. He is not him..He is not him. He is not him. She calmed herself down, "I apologise for that. I just did not expect him to have his father's eyes."

Celestia smiled warmly at her sister, "It's alright. We will raise him to be better than his father."
