As I count those friends close I no longer know which are trueIf I’m being honest, probably very few
This is something I am always blind to see
Yet again it seems to have happened to me
I always fail to see the bad, only the good times we share
For all those that did not prove true I really did care
You called me to cry or in your moments of utter despair
Though the favour was never returned I was always there
In the times I felt worthless and anything but strong
You could have helped me to feel like I belonged
I guess all I’m trying to say is don’t bother to pretend
If this is the way it is then I don’t want you as a friend

Yeah I know exactly what you are talking about...I had some "friends" and then shit started happening and they couldn't cope with how down I was feeling so they just dropped me. I hate people like that.
