Ignore my wonky temporary frame there lol, was just sketching something to kinda get a layout, the final frame will involve the use of a ruler to straighten out those lines lol.

Anyway...I think I've fallen in love with Nathan & Alix...I absolutely adore drawing them both and they're here to stay, so you'll see more of them for sure! Just as much as Tala & Nash. ^^

Wanted to try a kissing scene, even though I know Gargoyles don't typically partake in this human custom of showing love and affection. It was too much fun not to try! Especially with Nathan and his beak and Alix and her more humanoid facial structure.

The emotion was really fun to convey through their body language too! I'm really quite satisfied with this drawing! Nathan isn't reluctant, just coming out of being startled and moving into "wow...she's kissing me!" I like to think they were having a less than pleasant conversation, nothing angry, just something more along the lines of sad or sorrowful, probably involving their relationship (one of Alix's parental figures - yes I know not another Gargoyle custom but their clan is extremely small and the adults survived a brutal event, so they've come to naturally kind of embrace everyone in their clan much more than normal but those who's bloodlines they share just a smidge more than normal - anyway one of her parental figures doesn't approve of Nahan and his rogue rookery brothers, even though Nathan is a really great and rather bashful guy and is hardly likely to be making any first moves...obviously, poor boy).

Anyway, I love these two! I can't express it enough! I hope you love them as much as I do. ^^
