Just keep the pencil moving, you've been doing some great stuff lately. I don't comment often, I'm a crappy person that way, but I have seen your recent uploads and you are definitely leveling up your skills. Keep it up!

I'm a fan of old school sci-fi, just love the cheesy dialogue and special effects. I've got a list of classics I want to take a pencil to.

An F lead falls between an HB which is the standard lead type you find in most pencils and H which gets a bit harder/lighter. It's soft enough to give you those nice meaty contour lines yet hard enough to not need tons of sharpening to keep a thin line.

hmm, i only use mechanical pencils but i havent ran across f leads yet. the dreameater cover i just did was the first time i tried using a harder lead, i drew it with a 2h. it really strongly benefited my lines and gave me exactly what i needed but maybe h or f is something i should try too, 2h did feel maybe a bit too hard.

You can order them online from multiple places but if you want to just try 'em out Note me a physical address and I'll send you some. That way if you don't like 'em it didn't cost ya nothing.
What size mech pencil are you using, 0.5mm, 0.7mm? They may not make them in the 0.3mm range but I'm probably wrong about that. I do have some 0.5mm, 0.7mm size leads though. I mainly use the full lead with a lead holder so that's the bulk of what I purchase now.

hah im not worried, the ones ive found are a bunch of japanese ones anyway, their leads are such high quality it's ridiculous! i might have to just seek out a different brand. i use 0.5mm though, 7 always felt too bulky.
