Description
To investigate the crashed UFO near Oxford, a Chinook filled with a special forces squad of about 9 soldiers is sent. It reaches Oxford in no time and it is revealed that the UFO crashed in a field, next to a cattle barn and a small farm house. The windows were all broken, possibly as a cause of the deafening landing of the ship, which left a huge trail of knocked-up dirt and dust behind it. All the cattle were missing and the owners of the farm were found in the house, dead from severe head trauma and internal bleeding, most likely as a consequence of the landing as well. As the soldiers grew more and more uneasy, from the top of the barn a bolt of glowing blue of light cut through the air, almost faster than a bullet and hit one of the soldiers in the head. The trooper fell to the ground, with a steaming hole in his forehead. All soldiers rush to cover and open fire on the barn, suppressing the alien until a grenade was thrown and the barn caught alight, killing whoever was there.
The remaining members of the squad rush towards the downed UFO's door, staying in cover as much as they can. The UFO itself wasn't too large, only about as long as 2 cars placed side-by-side, with 2 large wings on the sides and the main door at the rear, right above a slender rocket engine, which was destroyed by the dogfight previously fought. The 8 remaining soldiers placed a C4 charge on the door and detonated it, revealing the insides of the ship. After the smoke cleaned up, afraid of staying out in the open and probably suffering the same fate as the other trooper, 2 of the soldiers rush into the ship guns-blazing, only to see nothing inside, besides a few glowing interfaces, and 2 bloody tables, with a dissected cow on them, explaining the missing cattle. The whole ship was silent, besides the beeps and boops of the many electronics inside. They thought that the alien they fought in the barn was the only pilot of the ship, so they called the local police and some agents from London to come and investigate the crash site.
About an hour and a half later, the site was swarming with scientists and police officers, along with the fair share of lunatics claiming the end of the world, who were quickly silenced, since the police didn't want any more hysteria caused by them. The wreck of the ship was taken via a cargo helicopter towards a laboratory in London.
Only days later, Great Britain, the US and other nations begin to believe that the ship was only a scout and the actual invasion was only getting started. The fears are then validated after reports of the same kinds of UFOs being spotted in places like China, Africa and Kazakhstan. Fearing the alien main attack, France, Great Britain, Germany and the US declares and alliance with one-another to prepare against the aliens. Only weeks after that, the Low Countries, Russia, China, Italy and Japan asks for membership, where they are accepted (blue colour). Many other nations offer funding, resources and personnel to the alliance in return of protection.
Months after the alien encounters, after UFO activity has dropped significantly, the alliance was on the brink of collapse, alien activity sky-rockets and absolutely overwhelms the alliance. Suddenly, the aliens are prepared for all-out conflict. Hundreds of thousands of alien forces descend onto either the plains of Africa, the jungles and mountains of S. America and the deserts of Australia. The nations of Earth, totally shocked at the ferocity of the aliens, yet also their incredible scientific advancements is unable to do anything to counter the aliens, who have gained a large foothold onto the Earth's southern hemisphere.
After only a few days of fighting against the hordes of aliens, all nations of Earth see how this war will be a long and ferocious one.
