It started as a portrait, I didn't really intend to add a background but a solid colour to it. Then I thought of adding some shit like a moon, clouds and a couple of buildings..etc. One thing led to another and it turned into this science-fictional-futuristic kinda vector. Never really was into sci-fi but I kind of like this vector more than any of my other ones

- That's Sophia Bush, an actress.

- It's 100% Illustrator, I used the Gaussian Blur effect to create those clouds/fog/ smoke/whateveryouwanttocallthem things.

Dude, thats hot. I love sophia bush and the background is stunning. Im pretty sure the blur in illurstrator is still a vector, i mean it is a vector program right? sans pixels.

Only thing i would say is the front of the face looks really cooly 3d and then the side looks a bit flat in contrast. But amazing job!

Yep, Illustrator.. it did take a couple of hours I think but it's much more fun playing around with the pen tool randomly rather than tracing an image and having to follow it's contour and all if you get what I mean..

Umm in my opinion Adobe Illustrator is the best and easiest one.
