Description
Tension among the crew came to a head with a love-triangle, adultery and subsequent double murder by the leader of the expedition, Dr. Lisbeth Darrow. It was said she sipped a Venusian martini in a zero G pouch when they came for her. Completely insane, she told them over and over, "she keeps looking at me..."The bodies were never recovered. There's a good chance the lovers will still be locked in their last embrace long after we're gone... perhaps long after the universe goes dark.

You are channeling TWO EC classics here that I read in my dad's collection. One was about a pair of marooned lovers longing for one last embrace before they ran out of oxygen, the other about a murderer whose enemy's magnetic boots firmly locked his asphyxiated corpse in front of the only large window where he endlessly stared, accusingly, driving him insane...

It also calls back an episode of a forgotten TV series where a shuttle is traveling to the home planet where a deadly disease is rapidly killing off the population. Aboard is the vaccine to save the population. Suddenly, the pilot discovers his girlfriend and love of his life has stowed away onboard to be with him. The problem is, they only have enough oxygen onboard for one person to make the trip and he's the only one who can land the craft. Turn around and save his love but kill everyone on back home, or make her step out of the airlock and save the world. I like to think of her body floating along next to the window for the entire trip.
