Exactly 2 decades ago, the 7th installment in The Land Before Time film series, The Stone of Cold Fire was released direct-to-video. This film also marks the 1st LBT movie I ever saw, as well as the 1st LBT film to be animated with digital ink & paint, as the 1st 6 films used traditional cel animation. It is also the last LBT movie to be presented in standard format, while the rest of the franchise uses high definition format.

In this film, Littlefoot sees a strange meteor fall from the sky & land atop 3-horn Peak, an active volcano in the Smoking Mountain range, so the whole gang, along with a pair of mysterious “Rainbow Faces”, must search for the “magical” stone before Petrie’s long lost uncle, Pterano & his more wicked cronies Rinkus & Sierra reach it.
