Three of my newest sketches of a character from my original anime idea, 'Falling As They Might'.

It's actually scary how much Frere-Sama (AKA Daishu/Daisuu) has proliferated in my anime ideas:- originally he was just a sidekick in the original FATM:- now, although he's still not the official protagonist, he's the most important character in the entire series. There are some pretty hefty hints in the planned prequel 'The Beginning' that he is also the immortal Charlemagne (who proceeds to kick backside and dominate the prequel too). There are hints that he is a Traveller (from the Zorian Saga, another of my fictional settings), he is likely to be Shaedow (from the Arradaen Saga, yet another setting), he's probably a Koningen (placing him in yet another of my settings the world of Devourer Reborn, and yes, he is probably responsible for creating the Falling As They Might timeline. I think I need to stop dropping hints before he gets too ridiculously overpowered.

Anyway, here are a variety of sketches, with some experimentation into different eye shapes. The two sketches on the left are in his normal shepherd's costume, which becomes increasing dog-eared during FATM, and the one on the right is supposed to be in the ridiculous court outfit Yisrayl made him wear after appointing Frere-Sama his representative in the Senate (hence he's supposed to look a bit uncomfortable).
