I hate that we won't be able to play as Elites in Multiplayer; because of this silly back story for Multiplayer. It wouldn't make sense to play as a new enemy either in Multiplayer if that was the case.

well if you read the books & keep up-to-date on all their info they share..they are trying to tie all the lore together..and thel does show up in glasslands..which is tying into halo 4 for sure..the next book thursday war comes out in october too..i wouldn't be surprised if more lore is played out in the spartan ops..and that would mean the covenant would be involved. perhaps since they won't be the main enemy in the main campaign..maybe they'll be the more-so antagonist in the side-campain albeit spartan ops.

Nice. Love the scales. He looks more like the Elites in Halo 4 now. I like the way you did the feet but I am still not a huge fan of those feet. I preferred the split hooves from halo CE. Excellent sketch.

Thank you! I was pretty happy with the scales as well, actually! I think I prefer the foot design in Halo 4 though; it looks more like the foot could move around more than it could in Halo CE and Halo 2, though, I did like the design in those games too.

I know right? I personally loved the Halo 2 aeshtetics of Elites, I thought they were just perfect! Halo 3, they looked a bit fat, and in Reach, they got the size correct and all, but I don't think they looked very smart XD The Halo 4's Elite looks okay, I guess, I like the scales that 343 have done though!

In Halo CE I felt they were the most Alien but were still ferocious and noble. I love the cultural exploration in Halo 2 but something started to change... they felt less alien, somehow softer and less scary. Then in halo 3 they got as you said: fat. And in reach they seem like angry air-filled balloons that run really fast and kill you with a fluffy footed kick. Something is off. I truly how that the scaly monsters in Halo 4 have the nobility of Halo CE elites and the depth of Halo 2 elites. I just don't know what to expect.

Yeah, I thought that the Elites from Halo CE were most alien as well; whenever I saw one I was like "Awh... Sh*t.", but I've always loved them! And yeah, in Halo 2... I see what you mean. I think it might've have some part to their knowledge of human language, making it seem less threatening, I guess. Your description of Halo Reach Elites literally made me lmao, it's genuinely true XD But yes, I hope that Halo 4 will capture Elites at their highest of iconic qualities, even though they won't be a large part of Halo 4.

I wish they had a bigger part too, I've always been interested in our fellow Elite friends, they were by far the most interesting species from the Covenant in my opinion. I thought the Arbiter was portrayed fairly well to be honest, but yeah, he could've still been portrayed better as you say.
That's hilarious XD On Legendary, it was fair to be afraid of Elites; I was terrified of the Grunts :/
And I agree, totally.
