I went away for while,When I came back you were gone
Where did you go
I do not know

Maybe I'll be here when you come back

Next time I go away I'll say goodbye
But right now I am lost without you.

It's sort of hard to explain really. It's like that because when I came up with the poem that is how it came to me. It sort of how I felt at the time.

It's a very nice story told here, makes me think of a friend going away and waiting for them to return or maybe for you to return to them.
The structure is a bit odd though. There seems to be a bit of a rhyme going on or maybe a hiaku, but I don't really understand it. Could you explain it to me?
It's a nice poem overall.
