"I can't wait until my new siblings come!" Kopa mewed with excitement. "They'll be soon, right? Because I don't wanna wait until I'm a grown-up!"
"Don't worry Kopa, you'll get plenty of time to play with your new siblings." Nala smiled at her son's happiness.
"How's the ear?" Simba spoke up, his tail curled next to Nala's.
"It doesn't even hurt anymore!"

first time drawing Nala and Simba! I think I did good on Simba's mane, and I like the colors I did with Nala!

So in my version of Kopa, he wasn't sired by Simba, but the lion loves the cub as his son. Nala's just happy her son's a lot happier than he was when Scar was king.
Kopa's probably bragging how longer his mane has gotten, because he grew a mane when Nala left to go find help, Simba's just smiling, because he knows how that feels.

Also about the ear..it's related to another story, dw Kopa's fine the blood is just dried.
