a study in colour and lighting. i kind of like how it turned out, except for the colouring on the girls face and the ear. i'll probably do a tightened version including the full body, background and all that stuffRelated content

I love the overall simplicity of the figures and shapes in this image. The face is well shaded and the rest of hte image is kind of blocked out, which gives my eyes a good direction in which way to focus.
Some of the coloring either on her skin or on her hair seems unnatural, (as in maybe too olive, not enough red, or hair is too blue-ish) but other than that it is a emotional piece as well as a sketch and i really enjoy it.

It's looking good. The lighting and colors are really well done. I can't see anything that needs much work on. I agree that you should go back into the face and work on it just a little bit more, but really, it's looking great.

Looks already finished to me. Great study piece. Nice color use again, and the flashy highlines on her face and ears!

Simple and beautiful. I really like the strokes on the image. Bold and strong work on a seemingly sad and lone figure.
Very nicely done. Hopefully I'll gain experience in Photoshop to draw images with the confidence and the flow you've got.

this is really nice. i like the confident brushstrokes and the bold colours, you havent spent a lot of time fussing over details and it shows, its really spontaneous. the highlight on the girls hair is maybe a bit slick compared to the rest of the drawing. this is exactly the type of thing i try to achieve, without the aid of smudge brush, cos i can't stand that look. very cool.

Wow, those colors are very well picked, its very well done. The glow from the fire is well done on the side of her face. It's all great the only part right now that looks bit odd compared to the rest is the light spot on her hair with just a couple streaks going by, but doesnt matter much
You should really do some more on this one to make it as great as it can be

Wow, that's beautiful. I love the suggestive brushstrokes.. especially in the hair. It really gives the effect that it's detailed.. when it's just a few strokes that builds the whole thing. The moody lighting looks great.. and gives a warm feel to the picture.
