Description -Backround-
Elderis is the only planet in Sam's Sprite World. It makes up for it by being one of the largest planets in the Spriterverse. Its continents are mysteriously shaped like a serpent-like dragon. This probably explains the high respect toward dragons in Elderis.

No two continents are ever the same. Every continent has different culture, but they all bow down to the leader of Elderis, the pharaoh. Or at least until the pharaoh system was torn down by rebellion. A warlock called forth an element-born race of constructs called Titans capable of killing Elderis' gods. While one by one Titans were bound by heroes, the final one would mortally wound Elderis' society.

The final Titan was made up of pure shadows. This served a problem, it was too unpredictable to be bound by any hero. Heroes slowly fell, but the pharaoh at the time saved Elderis. Wielding a golden headpiece, the pharaoh controlled the last Titan and locked it away. Expecting praise, the pharaoh was shocked to see his people horrified. Perhaps paranoid after all the Titan attacks, the people could only see the pharaoh as the mysterious warlock. And so they captured him and executed him on his own throne. That was the end of the pharaohs' rule.

Now with no real political control in Elderis, small villainy has been common. However, more lurks ahead..

The Velathian Ocean
Surrounding every landmass on Elderis, this ocean's environments vary deeply depending on what continent its near. Typically, coastal regions are known to carry lots of fish allowing for great fishing hubs all around Elderis. However, beyond the coast lies the deeper reaches of the Velathian Ocean that have undergone few exploration. Eldritch horrors are said to roam the ocean floor and inflict mischief on unfortunate sailors. Because of that, cross continental travel is rare and Elderis is highly sectionalized.

-Landmasses-

Tiamak, the Mind of Elderis
Tiamak is the current central continent of Elderis. Tiamak has modernized itself entirely ever since the Age of Titans and has set up a prime example for what a nation should be like. But while Tiamak's society is healthy and stable with fair commerce and law, its leaders have grown corrupt. Political schemes and conspiracy exist behind these leader's campaigns and furthermore, some have hired malicious villains to stir the public's fear.

-Skalibis City is the capital of Tiamak. Its towering buildings are famous for their height, many of which even stumpt mountains. The tallest skyscraper is owned by Bilge Co. and is the closest one can get to Draako Citadel without pulling Draako authorities.
-Techo Peninsula is a city of innovation. Although the actual peninsula plummeted into the ground as a result of titan Terraform's rage, the peninsula's people recovered quickly. Using metal plating and technology, this city was reborn to be better than before.
-Grandi is the ultimate town of festivities. Here Elderis' poor make a living through setting up magical attractions. These attractions range from music, rides, food, and competitions such as battles or racing. All those who visit Grandi are bound to have a good time.
-The Dertas is a collection of many islands. Wooden bridges link these islands together. While the Dertas is one area, it is widely known that no island is ever the same. Every island is famous for certain resources, and its up to the people of the Dertas to work together to share them.

Belindia, the Heart of Elderis
Belindia was once known as the central continent of Elderis. Its cities prided themselves in their beautiful golden pyramids, while people from all ends of Elderis come for cleansing in their pure oases. That was until the reign of pharaohs ended where the existing culture became questioned. And much like how the pharaohs became soon forgotten, so did Belindia. Now, the continent is in ruins. Its cities have been torn apart by sandstorms and inattention. And as a result, Belindia has become a popular hot spot for effortless thievery.

-Uttali is the capital of Belindia. It was known for being the most rich city in all of Elderis until Belindia's fall. Constant bandit attacks have sent the locals into hiding. Rumors tell that the people have built an underground paradise under the city, but no evidence has been found to support that rumor yet.
-Spiral Temple was one of Belindia's most famous landmarks until its fall. While its statues of gods have become mossy, it is lucky to be the only standing structure in Belindia today. This is because no bandit dares to tread its eerily silent and sacred halls in fear of being smitten.
-Proscion is a zone of emptiness. The grey sands never churn. Statues of warriors are scattered throughout Proscion, motionless. A particular statue depicts some sort of monster with a menacing grin. Few have made it out of Proscion alive.

Apothis, the Ravenous Bramble
Apothis is the third main continent on Elderis. Not many people have lived here ever since the titan Overgrowth engulfed the majority of the land in thick layers of deadly foliage. Fortunately, most of the deadly plants have been removed from the environment since then. What was left behind however, was hundreds of newly created species of plants. Many experienced botanists travel here to study Apothis' wide variety of plants. It's recommended to not take them out of Apothis though, as the plants quickly spread to new environments and cause problems.

-Hachiki Village is the capital of Apothis. The inhabitants have a firm belief of giving back what you take from the environment, and as such they've created a naturalist lifestyle within the treetops. Be sure to meet their standards though, they know a lot about poisons here.
-Indefalm is a zone in east Apothis where it became so deadly, the plants could not be removed. A wall of toxic fumes mark Indefalm's border. A long whiff of this gas can cause utterly painful and incurable disease. Only few species of wildlife have managed to survive here.
-The Cesspool is a hidden underground bog beneath Apothis. It pools together every single plant's waste material making it an extremely thick and corrosive lake. Despite of this, some plants have managed to thrive in these pools and have adapted to feed off the material in them.
-Devil's Nest is a zone in south Apothis. There are no trees, only a forest of tangling vines that stretches for miles. The vines seemingly coil on their own, actively trying to swallow trespassers beneath their mass.

Arach, the Spirits' Awakening
Arach is a continent split up by cardinal directions. In each of the four quadrants lie a demigod honing the immense power given to them through the gods. While not many people visit Arach, those who have claim that it is an awakening of the mind and body that none can comprehend without experiencing it themselves.

-Northern Arach is home to the demigod Norman. The blistering cold provides a strenuous environment for intense training.
-Eastern Arach is home to the demigod Eball. Its fields are completely silent, allowing for long periods of meditation.
-Southern Arach is home to the demigoddess Sola. People claim that the fire here warms the soul.
-Western Arach is home to the demigod Wesiar. It seems that whenever one climbs a mountain, there's always a higher one to climb.

Chushima, the Revered Land
Chushima is a unique continent in that it is only one massive town. At the bottom, farms take advantage of the fertile soil created by the many rivers running through Chushima. Higher up in the mountains, royals watch over the land. This is similar to Tiamak's Skalibis City in a way, but the people of Chushima, poor and rich alike, are all in a special communion. Outside of Elderis' gods, they worship a wide range of mystical spirits who they believe keep peace in Chushima. Whether these spirits are real or not, Chushima is infact one of the most peaceful lands in Elderis.

-The Air Rivers are what the farmers of Chushima call the collection of rivers that run through Chushima. The waters of these rivers are so pure that they are nearly transparent, hence the name. The river's crops feed all of Chushima and thus, Chushimans have very long life spans.
-Bamobo is the name of the forest that sits at the foot of Chushima's mountain. Here farmers harvest the tall and sturdy bamboo stalks for their homes. Because the forest is thick and seemingly never ending, the higher class and lower class hardly meet.
-Dimyoka is the area in which Chushima's lords reside. Their homes scatter along the sides of the mountain. Closer to the bottom, bandit attacks are very common as lesser nobles are under minimal protection.
-The Moonlight Peak is the highest part of Chushima's mountain. Its height reaches the sky, leading some to believe that this is where the Chushiman spirits dwell. This idea is supported by the fact that not even the royals live there.

Ethcatel, the Frigid End
Ethcatel is the coldest continent in all of Elderis. Ever since the ultimate destruction of the titan Frostbite, people have began to settle and create towns in Ethcatel. But even with Frostbite gone, Ethcatel is no easy landmass to live on. Those who dare to explore its frosty regions without proper supplies will quickly die of hypothermia or starvation. And even with proper supplies, some of Frostbite's negative energy still lingers, plaguing the outer areas night and day.

-Wesklofan is the capital of Ethcatel. Its friendly residents work together to brave Ethcatel's cruel temperatures. Everybody here has a role whether it be hunting, farming, cooking, etc. It's a great place to visit, but it's difficult to visit because of the obstacles in the north and south.
-The Old Berg is a massive glacier that floats around the south of Ethcatel. It has no other purpose but to hinder and sink ships. Why this phenomenon occurs is unknown to the people of Ethcatel, but all they know is to never cross paths with it.
-The Polar Darkness is a zone in the northern half of Ethcatel. The negative energy left behind by Frostbite collected in this location. At night, this negative energy forms together to create entities of pure chaos. Few have made it alive until sunrise.

Nagatha Isles, the Burning Scar
The Nagatha Isles are all that's left of the continent of Nagatha. While it was once a beautiful grassland, the wild battle between the titan Incinerate and the hero Razsh consumed Nagatha in flames and split it into three. Now, the Nagatha Isles are remembered as the scar of the warlock's wrath. Few individuals remain in the Nagatha Isles as it's far too dangerous to even attempt to survive in. However, whispers tell that a cult of sorts have formed within the Nagatha Isles. Insignias of the rumored cult are etched onto burnt trees everywhere.

-Arost Village is the capital of the Nagatha Isles. Wrecked stone buildings are scattered throughout the village. Those who do live in the Nagatha Isles most likely live here, struggling to survive the heat.
-The Cremated Grounds is a zone in the Nagatha Isles with a supernatural background. On first glance, the grounds are just a cemetery with burning tombstones, but residents of the isles say that the screams of the Incinerate's victims can still be heard within the fire.
-The Obsidius Volcano is the location of the rumored cult. It is the only dormant volcano in the Nagatha Isles and robed figures are sometimes seen walking up its steps. Non-believers say that those who claim to have seen figures have suffered from heat hallucination.

Draako Citadel, the Floating Wonder
Draako Citadel is home to most of the dragons of Elderis. It was created through a negotiation between the ancient pharaohs and the dragon royal family. This negotiation gave the dragon royals their own separate castle kingdom in the skies in exchange for allegiance. The Citadel was changed forever after the attack of the titan Turbulence. Turbulence destroyed the entire center of the royal castle. Instead of rebuilding it, the destroyed area of the castle was converted into a village for non-royal dragons to live in. The actual "citadel" today is the ring around the village that still stands.

-Inner Draako is the name of the village for non-royal dragons. Many different types of individuals live here, all woven together by their dragon blood. Law is extremely strict here, but it hasn't become a problem yet.
-Outer Draako is the name of the castle ring surrounding the village. Here, royals live all throughout the ring. Because there are so many angles of attack, soldiers constantly patrol the ring. Additionally, cannons are readied to shoot at unauthorized invaders at all times.
-Bastt is a tall tower adjacent to Outer Draako. It harbors the barracks of the Scaled Garrison, a legion of soldiers dedicated to patrolling the Outer Draako and keeping watch over all of the Citadel. Additionally, it is one of the only few entrances into the walls.
-The Well of Suspension is a shrine dedicated to a huge glowing gemstone in the middle of Draako Citadel. In the past, it used to be a mystery as to how the massive island floated in the air; but after the fight of Turbulence, this arcane marvel was uncovered. It was discovered that the members of the royal family fed the gemstone raw magic to hold the citadel afloat. Now that many members are dead or missing, the gemstone's power is slowly fading away.

So, there is some background of my world. I figured I needed to do this sooner or later because my world is very unknown to people. I'll probably expand on this information.
