*turns on flashlight* T'was a dark and stormy night! ...And rather blustery too, I'd imagine... And possibly with a high percentage of rain, and-- *gets bricked*...*twitch*...
...*gets up* Uh, yes... More Zappa fanart. And surprisingly enough, this started out as three seperate lil' drawings!
But it sorta fit, so I put 'em together and airbrushed a nice background for it in Photoshop. All the characters were colored in Opencanvas, though.

I'm not sure who she is, but I don't think she's his mother. Mostly cause she looks like one of those Japanese long-haired ghost ladies, and he's Australian. Also, the "KA-SAN!" thing could be an equivalent of someone shouting for their mommy. XDD I dunno, just a thought.

Very well done, though. The perspective is great. You can really feel the cold rain pouring down and the general unpleasantry of the scene. Excellent job!

Guh....just... so... AWESOME!! I can really tell you put a whole lot into this deviation, and the end product looks incredible. This just looks so great as a whole, AND when taken in to parts. So, let's comment on the parts.
Let's start off with our favorite ghost biotch, S-ko. She's got some great perspectivity going on, with her looming menacingly over our poor Zappa, and her dress folding and billowing in the wind realistically. I like that detail at the bottom of her dress, like those tiny rips and frays. They add a nice touch to her....creepyness. That ghostly white aura around her was a nice idea, and ended up having a nice effect.
Now onto ghost dog over here, by Zappa. You managed to make him actually look cute, which is pretty amazing in itself, since that thing is so darn vicious looking in the game. You still did him very much justice, since you payed so much attention to his skeleton AND exterior. The coloring is what really makes him, though. His smoothe shades of gray and bright red on the eyes... (there's not a word for what I'm trying to say. Language has failed me! x_x)
Now on to Zappa, who once again astonishes me by the detail on him. First of all, before I get into too much detail, I like that you made some white highlight around his edges to show the mist rain hitting him. It's a nice, realistic add-on that contributes to the whole thing. Now to the detail. He's drawn very realistically, with every crevice of every muscle defined, and strands of hair go out on their own limbs, but what REALLY makes this a masterpiece is that INCREDIBLE watercolorish shading. I mean... GAH! O_O This really made me gape when I saw it. There are just so many dimentions to it that I can't even list them! It doesn't even look like this was CG'd, like it was done with real tools by some crazy famous person that cuts their ear or other appendages off. And every time I see another picture made by you, the hair just keeps looking more and more realistic. It's like each and every strand was done individually. The highlighting and shading is very consistant with real hair, which is not only hard to create, but difficult to observe. I've looked at my hair a million times, and I still don't know how it works.
I can tell this took a LOT of effort. In the end, this turned out to be a masterpiece; as good, if not better, than Guilty Gear's official art.

For those wondering, Zappa has many horror movie references in his moves (including his Instant Kill, which is straight out of Ringu). S-Ko (the lady ghost that possesses him) is just one of them.

Bless Zappa to pieces- he really is such a lovely boy and an excellent character, but he gets so little love from the world...
Very very very nice work as ever- I love the background alot, as it fits the piece very nicely- The dog is adorable :3 I've seen so few drawings of it! S-Ko is excellently menacing and Zappa... Oh mahn, I wanna pick him up, help him home and dry him. The poor boy.
