Eh, everyone else beat me to it but: the haaaaair. ;; It's so pretty. So dark, too. It's like just the parts that need to stand out do, and we get the idea that she is totally lost in the dark. I like how it seems windy, but the background looks like flames so I feel like it's this dark, hot breeze. Also, the haaaaaaaair. XD

I wish I could hear the song ;-; The only little thing that kinda bothers me is the little scribbles on the background portion, above the character. Otherwise
This reminds me a lot of a video game I love because of the general horror theme of it, plus the word "macabre" brings a rush of memories from both that game and being scared just playing it. The music was awesome, the play was awesome, storyline, voiceovers, you name it this game had it all.
I'm gonna try and find you a music sample from the game, I wanna see if you like it or not. ^^ I'll send you a link through a message here when I find something.

i really like how you did the background, though i'm not entirely sure what's going on. still, it looks cool, and that's good. also, i know everyone's said this, but the hair is really beautifuly done. i almost wish there was another color or another shade of red in there for some more variation, but i think that might ruin the mood etc that you've got going on right now. i don't know, ignore me
