Cub Scar...done as a thankyou pic for the man behind everyone's favorite evil lion, Andreas Deja. I had the pleasure of meeting him and talking with him a few weeks ago at Disney's animation studio. Very nice guy he was. ^__^Related content

I like the drawing very much 
But he looks kinda evil. No offence i love Scar as a villain...evil even. But i cannot...dont want...to imagine him evil since a child. I always had this vision of him being a sad lonely, sick little lion taht even his father hated. Where hyenas and Zira were his only companions. And that he got his Scar from his father when he got angry of him.

I agree. He was probably not a born killer. But expressions can be lifetime things...I see this smirk as something he had since a kid, even though he was probably a good cub at that point. He could still have good things to smirk about.

Nice guy, evil lion lol. Scar wasn't evil though, just knowing what he wanted...and willing to do whatever it took. I like how his mane's all slicked back.

just to warn you i believe scar got that scar on his eye for trying to embaress mufasa in their older days.So that scar should not be there.

Actually, that was explained in the promotional story books that were sold when the movie first came out; you can barely find them anymore. During that canon, Scar pissed off a water buffalo when he was a kid and got mauled or something (doesn't actually own the book) or so I've been told.

There are actually many different theories about how Scar got his scar. I wasn't following any specific one here, I just added the scar to fully capture the appearence of the character for Andreas Deja. Either way, he certainly didn't have a complaint about it.
