This is a CAR-15. Great rifle. Never fired it, but I hope to do so at a range someday.

Technically it is a CAR-15, however this is a Colt Model 653 (notice the flash hider, it is not the 4.5 inch CAR-15 one) which was based on the M16A1 rifle (thus the name M16A1 Carbine). www.warboats.org/stonerordnote…
