Title: What If Spider-Man Exposes Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home?
Premise: What if events had unfolded differently? What if Spider-Man exposes Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home?
In this alternate storyline, Peter Parker exposes Quentin Beck's crimes and plans by capturing him along with his crew in the bar after defeating the Fire Elemental at the Prague Carnival.
Description: Relaxing inside the bar in Prague after an intense battle, Peter Parker orders a glass of lemonade, feeling disheartened by Nick Fury's discouraging words. Quentin Beck, sensing Parker's distress, tries to lift his spirits, urging him to celebrate his victory.
Parker confides in Beck about feeling indebted to Tony Stark, who had given him a chance to be more than just a regular teenager. When Beck asks Parker what he truly wants at that moment, Peter expresses his desire to return to his school trip and spend time with his friends, especially wanting to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower with MJ and maybe share a kiss.
Beck, admiring Peter's innocence and sincerity, attempts to maintain the façade of friendship, but his true intentions start to surface. When a waitress picks up the E.D.I.T.H. glasses from the floor and returns them to Parker, Beck suggests Peter try them on again. Peter obliges and shows them off to Beck, who then tries them on himself.
As Beck examines the glasses, Peter reflects on Tony Stark's message: "For the next Tony Stark, I trust you." This prompts Peter to reconsider his responsibilities and the trust Stark had placed in him. Beck questions why Stark would give such powerful technology to Peter, leading Parker to a moment of clarity.
Peter tells E.D.I.T.H. to grant Beck access to the network. E.D.I.T.H. scans Beck and reveals his true identity: a former Stark Industries employee fired for his unstable use of B.A.R.F. technology. When E.D.I.T.H. asks Peter to confirm the transfer of control to Beck, Peter hesitates and declines, shocked by the revelation.
Realizing he's been exposed, Beck tries to snatch the glasses from Peter, but Parker uses his super strength to grab Beck's arm. A tense struggle ensues as drones project illusions in the bar. Peter fights back, shooting webbing to disable the drones and subdue Beck's crew.
As chaos unfolds, Peter contacts Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D., exposing Beck's villainous plans and his team's involvement in creating the Elementals. Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. arrive, turning the illusionary bar into an abandoned pub as they arrest Beck and his associates.
Returning to the Carlo IV Hotel, Peter is hugged by Ned Leeds, who informs him that their vacation has been canceled due to the Elemental attacks at each destination. Peter reassures Ned that the mission is over and the Elementals are gone, but their teacher, Roger Harrington, announces they are leaving the trip in the morning, much to the fear of Julius Dell.
Peter is disappointed that his plan to express his feelings to MJ might be too late. As he walks through the hotel, MJ confronts him about where he was. They have an awkward conversation, but Peter finally musters the courage to ask her out. MJ, surprised but pleased, agrees to go for a walk with him.
In the lobby, Peter sees a news report on television about Mysterio's exposure and arrest for his crimes and fraud. This reassures Peter as he waits for MJ to join him. During their walk, Peter confesses to MJ that he is Spider-Man. MJ is surprised but understanding, noting how Peter had access to killer drones. Peter suggests they visit the Eiffel Tower together, and MJ agrees.
A few days later, the school trip arrives in Paris and books rooms at the Shangri-La Hotel. In the evening, Peter takes MJ to the top of the Eiffel Tower, where he gives her a Black Dahlia necklace. They share a heartfelt moment and officially become a couple, much to the happiness of their classmates, though Brad Davis is left feeling jealous and sad.
With the Midtown high school European tour concluded, Peter returns home with his classmates. On the flight back, Peter and MJ share a nap, chuckling at their mishaps and feeling content with their new relationship. Upon landing in Newark, New Jersey, they walk through the airport hand in hand, signaling their new relationship.
Betty Brant comments on how cute they look together, and Peter offers to go on a double date with her and Ned, only to find out they have broken up. As Peter exits the airport, he finds his Aunt May, who is relieved to see him safe. They share a hug and Peter notes how everything feels fine despite the challenges.
Finally, we see Spider-Man swinging through New York City with MJ, symbolizing their strong partnership and Peter's growth as both a hero and a person.
In the post-credits, In a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. facility, we see Quentin Beck and his crew being processed and detained. Their elaborate illusions and equipment are confiscated, and they are placed in high-security cells.
Meanwhile, Nick Fury is revealed to have been on a space station the entire time. The Fury and Hill who were on Earth are shown to be Skrull impersonators, Talos and Soren, operating at Fury's behest. Talos reports to Fury about the successful capture of Mysterio and the exposure of his plans, expressing concerns about other threats on Earth. Fury, looking out at the vastness of space, simply nods and says, "Let's get to work," implying the beginning of a new mission.
The End.
