I would guess this is a parody of Elvgren's "Plenty Sharp", a painting from 1959. In that one, the girl gets poked by a frond rather than bitten by a flytrap.

I am so glad I found this on DA! I saw it as my friend's lock screen and wondered where she got it she said she could not remember. Since then I have been trying to track down the artist and see their other work and I am glad I did!
