If the logo and the search box are inclined, why the rest of the ''squares'' are not? I don't know if it would work but is at least following the same design. I find that book behind the box kinda strange there, they don't belong to the aesthetic of the rest of the web. Maybe if the picture was treated in another way, like put it in a rounded square like the other images you're working with. The light blue rectangle below is so bright, it difficult to be seen.
These are my impressions, just to give you an opinion.
