this is Gabriel Leigh. he is =MoreSerotonin-Please 's character, from her comic: ~ToxicApocalypse .character info and links can be found there
if you really enjoy this please take the time to tell her so-- after all it's her character, not mine.i started vecking this around 1:30AM. it was finished roundabouts twenty to five. all vector. no hi's. i thought i'd "go nuts" with the blood. just 4 u.

WOAH.... The lighting of this is really really well done. He looks like he's in some kind of dark castle dungeon or in a sewer. It's so dark and yet cool. I can't really describe it. The dark colors you chose go excellent together.

thanks.. i was really relived amzarah was willing to scan it for me. i wanted to color it as soon as i drew it. her characters are so... weird and cool. you'd think they'd be easy to draw but it's actually a bitch... i was lucky i was able to vector over it.

after monkeying around with vectors of late(inkscape) I have an even greater appreciation for your abilities.

nah...thats one of ubuntu's thingies...well linux in general actually. You know it may be on the pc too. Ya know it's pretty cool...uses layers, object grouping, draw time switching, photo to vector processing(cheaters!), shade filtering, and image importing/exporting. I have another prog called Synfig Studios that animates SVG files....but I haven't quite got to it yet.

I like it....though it's export is a bit touchy...I need to see if Gimp can load it's SVG files and have it convert the images to jpg. It does Gradients...but I haven't messed with it yet.

for when I post them...to make them web friendly...believe you me I don't work with jpg...too lossy....I usually use bitmap, xfc, or svg...those all are loss-less compressed....also hugh as hell too!

I guess I like bitmap cause it isn't lossy...and it seems kinda universal between the different systems I use. Also it seems to load and save quickly. I'll have to examine png more.

a PNG has the losslessness (?) and color depth of a bitmap but the loading speed of a GIF.
PNG is way more universal; DA prefers them over jpeg/gif/anything else.

WOAH. I absolutely love the pose. Its....so.....so....[can't think of words to describe that pose except] sexy. The colors are wonderful. Especially the green. It attracts meee.....

i'm glad everyone liked that green, i almost toned it down, but i kept remembering the artist's ref had them kind of fluorescent. that was easy to pull off with such low-range coloring surrounding it

Beautiful colors, and the high-range green provides a wonderful contrast, really makes it stick out. Of course, great vector work and smooth lines, but that's what I expect coming from you. You're a master at it. Good work.
