The colored version my non human poly trio.

That's Donatello, Makai, and Michelangelo in case it wasn't blazingly obvious. I started coloring this a while ago when I was hammered one weekend and just went back to fix it.

Ended up coloring the whole thing in just in case anyone cares.

So, in case anybody hadn't noticed, I'm sidling out of the poly closet myself. I've always been fascinated with plural relationships and have had the urge to work it into a lot of storylines, but I usually abstained for various reasons.

A perfect example is Makai and Michelangelo. I was always a bit . . . . meh about thier relationship and I left poor Donatello out in the cold even though he was the one I identified with the most.

The truth was, I thought Donnie and Mikey would make perfect 'brother husbands' to Makai. I mean; think about it. There's only two females on the planet. Would they really expend that much effort keeping up with societal norms in a society they weren't actually part of?

Donnatello would totally be able to come to terms with it through pure, cold logic, and Michelangelo knew that denying it would be sentencing his brother to a lifetime of solitude. I don't think Mikey would be that selfish.

As for Makai, this would actually be natural for her; sea turtle mating involves four or five males to one female, so if anything she's toning it down a bit.

Like I said, I decided against it because . . . . well, I had a lot going on with my own failing marriage at the time and was trying to convince myself that 'one true love' forevers and evers was the way it was supposed to be.

*cough* Anyway. >>

I drew this since I've only got Charles and his ladies as my active poly group right now. Sister wives are fine, but I thought I'd throw some brother husbands in, too.

However, polyamory isn't for everyone, as evidence by this completely retarded reaction comic.
