Hi! I see that you've requested critique on this piece, and I'm here to give you one

I think your pastel experiment turned out wonderful! I really like how you drew the chibi's hair and eyes, they both look so luminous . I really like your dress design as well, it looks elegant, yet high-tech because of the bright colors and markings. I see that there's some shoulder protection as well, so it's practical on top of that .

My main suggestion for this piece is to either draw the entire brim of the hat above the lady's head (if you're drawing the underside of the seam), or cover more of the hair under the seam (if you're drawing from above). The current overlap between the hair and seam makes it difficult to tell what angle you are drawing the hat from.

Additionally, there are some overlaps in your line art and places where it sticks out, such as the place where the hair meets the dress. I suggest cleaning this up a bit for a more finished look .
