My painting from Saturday's "First Brush of Fall" plein air painting event in Converse, IN. The day was a bit cloudy and I had some problems having to dodge the intermittent rain, but overall it was a great experience and I'm very pleased with how this painting came out. It was a nice chance to take short break from the city and paint something a bit different from my usual subject matter and style.
