this is was completely an accident. i was doing some yoga in my room and the light was so pristine and beautiful i had to take a picture of something.now that its here, i think this is one of the only true self portaits that i've done.

I can't really say anything someone else hasn't already said.
The lighting is just magnificent, gives a wonderful contrast.
However, what strikes me the most is your pose. Makes me wonder 'what exactly are you thinking?', because you look so thoughtful, yet so intune with your surroundings, which I think it's a good thing you can't see them in the photo, because it adds to the 'why is she so placid and calm?' feeling I'm getting from it.
I guess that's what yoga makes you look like

This is truly a beautiful portrait. I love how natural, I love the contrast....
but the hand and face somewhat contradict, the face glows and is sharp, the hand's so much softer. either is absolutely gorgeous by itself, and it's not that it looks bad together by any means. i suppose i'm just being nitpicky. sorry.
and i do realize this was just taking advantage of a good moment, and even if not, it's still an amazing portrait. i love it. you're beautiful
