Description
While my dad and I were in Seattle my aunt and uncle took us to San Juan Island to see orcas. There was no guarantee of seeing cetaceans, but we were lucky enough to see around 15 in the few hours we were there.

At that point, my cousins were getting bored and we had to prepare to board the ferry back to the mainland.

But it was awesome!
The orcas came 20-30 feet from us and put on a show of breaching, tail slapping, and spy hopping.

I'll go see if I can identify the individuals in the photo...

Edit: I'm thinking the one in front might be J-2 Granny; please correct me if I'm wrong!

Edit 2: J22 is in front and her son, J34, is right next to her.
