So I was needing to make some nice looking tassels for the following Syoaran cosplay I am planning to do ([link] ). However, buying actually tassels are a bit costly and did not have the look I was wanting. So I decided to try and make my own.

I bought the red fringe and red rattail string at Joann's fabic store. Any fabric store should have them. I bought my beads at Hobby Lobby. I got a bag of mixed colored beads, however, none were the actual color I was hoping for, so I decided to spray paint them the colors I wanted.

Making these tassels was very easy and straight forward. Putting it all together takes about 5 minutes.

Overall, I was very pleased with how nicely they turned out.
