I had Digital Imaging on Friday at school, and of course, the first day is about the basics of Photoshop. Needless to say, I was not paying a lick of attention. So I decided to paint Aadesh since its been a while. And NOW that I can do proper (somewhat) spacescapes, I'd been wanting to draw him since. He's such a beautiful thing and always so calming to draw.

Beautiful, beautiful! I love the colours in this, lately colours of this sort strike me as extra appealing. I am most fond of the transluscent horns and the exploding super novas like bits (is that what they are?) over the body. The face looks so wise amid the epic atmosphere which adds an extra special touch I think. I really love the lifted paw and how it glows underneath and the long flowing fetlocks. For some reason I think this would make a very cool mural on someone's bedroom wall.

Those splodey looking bits are those swirly nebula/galaxies you see in NASA pictures sometimes. I've finally started getting the hang of this spacey stuff! *joy* You think it would? That would be an epic mural, probably take me forever because I can't paint. XD

I go mornings every Wed, Thrus, Fri. But I don't have Steve! ;A; They switched him with another teacher so he isn't even doing digital imaging this quarter! *weep* But I did end up with an awesomely cool teacher though~

4 hours is really nothing. XD My more detailed work gets up into +72 hours. Aadesh is a Universum, a species originally invented by ~TearsofHope but she gave them over to ~BlazingBlackMage recently. They're lion-like but I'm not sure if they actually classify as big cats.

Watching you for as long as I have now, I've noticed what makes you so unique...the color. The colors are always so vivid, smooth, and alluring. I can see how this picture would have been calming to draw :3
