Lea's Keyblade from Dream Drop Distance all finished and looking pertty for the amazing Hope you like it!First think i would like to point out is obviously there was no actual point in the one cutscene in which this keyblade appears, that the pendant for the key chain can actually be seen. I saw a picture (that i think was photoshopped but i'm not sure) that had a chackram as the pendant and i liked it so, that's why i went with it. Otherwise there's not really too much to say about this one really.
This keyblade was carved by hand with chisels and dremel from a single piece of layered plywood. I'm actually quite proud of how the paint work turned out on this one. The silver and red on the handle guard, as well as the white highlights were done with spray paint, but otherwise this whole thing was painted by hand with acrylics.

A truly amazing and awesome triumph of woodworking and painting! Even though I oppose the existence of this keyblade in game, this is a great piece!

Because Axel/Lea has no real reason to have a Keyblade...he just stuck his hand out and boom keyblade. In KHI (the best of the amazing game series) it was a big deal that Sora got the Keyblade, he was a special instance, but now everyone is getting one. I was okay with Riku given Terra, a little upset, but it made some sense. But then Lea is just there, I mean he became a Nobody that should have been an insta-black flag for his Keyblade eligibility. Kairi was a mild irritant honestly because she really didn't do much...she's a Princess of Heart, so I think she should have been separate, but I guess that's acceptable given her relationship to Sora. The only reason I can possibly fathom is that Lea's relationship with Roxas may have done something, but I don't understand how or why...Okay, Rant over...XD But great job on yours!

Well yes i'll admit there is a bit of a conflict since it was such a big deal that Sora had the keyblade (which he only had because of Ven anyway) but Lea did say he came to Yensid to learn how to wield it implying that it is something that can be trained and acquired. I'll admit the story has gotten kinda strange and convoluted but i in no way oppose how it's unfolded thus far. So what if he was a nobody? I think Ienzo is to blame for that but i'm not sure how exactly....i think that gap is filled in by the manga comics and stuff that i haven't read. Well Kairi had the keyblade passed down to her from Aqua, didn't she? I'm sure if i did some researched and looked for all the right cut scenes i could get an accurate idea of exactly what makes the keyblade choose someone but, idk...it's complicated XD never the less, long story short...thank you XD

But my big thing is, how much of his going to Yen Sid was just out of his own arrogance? I mean, in II, 358/2 and the Manga, he's very much an arrogant man. He's over-confident, and sticks his nose into places it really doesn't belong. The thing with the nobody bit, was that up until Roxas, a nobody having a keyblade, was a non-thing, and the only reason Roxas had it was (as you mentioned) the Ven thing. So, Roxas never really was a nobody, he was more or less a person if you think about it. He had Sora's Body and Soul and Ven's Heart, so he was a "complete" person by Kingdom Hearts' biology or whatever. As for the whole how he became a Nobody bit, that'd probably be covered in the BBS novels, which haven't been translated officially into English...I'm not sure how Kairi got the Keyblade because I thought it was supposed to be this big ritualistic thing. Aqua put a protection spell around Kairi, but then again I'm not positive....Anyway, I hope that you don't think I meant of this against you personally! I respect your opinion, and just want to voice mine. Anyway, no problem!

Hmmmm idk, i think it was more because of how he cared for Roxas and Ven and hence developed a connection with Sora, i think he has genuine feelings for him because he still sees Roxas when he looks at Sora. Well i still find that whole bit kinda confusing because i'm pretty sure at one point the whole "nobodies don't have hearts" thing was said to be a lie and that they actually did have hearts. Idk, it's confusing XD Well i thought Aqua handed down the keyblade to her but i'm not sure, i'd have to watch the cutscene again. I guess you could argue based on when she got her keyblade that the strength of her love for Sora and her friends was enough to make her worthy of weilding the keyblade or something along those lines. Hahaha of course not, is all good X3

Hmmmm...I suppose I can concede that point to you just more on a lack of official information, but still victory for you there! XD I did get really lost with that whole bit because somehow Nobodies could experience emotion again, and they somehow developed hearts, which I think really kind of screwed with my complete understanding of the entity that are Nobodies...but I don't know...XD That may be true with Aqua, I haven't really played BBS in a rather long time, and generally when I do, I play Ven's story anyway...To be perfectly honest when I first started stating my argument I didn't have any recent research into the topic. Lesson for you all kids...and politicians, do your research! XD Hmmmmm, I won't oppose that last bit mostly because I believe that Kairi and Sora do have a love between them, despite all the other fan theories...that and it also makes some genuine sense, unlike my last several responses...XD Yay! Glad to hear it!
