I love the 80's cartoon feel of this picture. Sort of reminds me of "The Littles" and several other shows I used to watch as a kid. I think it would look better with shading and some shadows though, as they seem to be floating in space. Where is the floor? Where is the light source? Also, Amethyst's pelvis and leg positioning might need a little work. Maybe it's due to a lack of background or floor to tell which way is up. Also, I can't find any joints on her right leg, though it might be from her body fat. It's just a good idea in general to show where the knees are, and in a fat character like Amethyst, there would be a lot of fat hanging over her knee, enough to make it narrow rather abruptly. If she's fit, the knees would still be a lot narrower than the thighs.
But anyway, this is a very cool pic - very refreshing after seeing so much anime, anthro and ponies.
