Thank you! I wish I could give some useful tips but honestly I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing Β I guess the things that have helped me the most so far are:

Start by roughing out the whole thing first, then work on building up the detailsΒ 

Use complimentary colours!

Composition is important - rule of thirds for example (seriously I wish I'd learnt this earlier >.<)

I am still terrible at drawing in perspective though, and that's pretty important too Mostly I just keep trying until it looks right, which is not a tactic I recommend
