ELF'S STORY:

This little fellow was found after his mother was attacked by a Jack Russell Terrier. Their mother gave birth to them prematurely so that they would survive even if she did not, leaving him and his siblings orphans. Thankfully, they were found and taken to a local wildcarer, who handed them in to us. We raised them until they grew adult feathers, equipping them with the skills they need to survive.

Due to being raised by humans, they are unfortunately very social creatures and unafraid of strangers; therefore, we need to find them proper home where they will be looked after.

*Based off the true story of three blue tongue lizards who we raised and released as wildcarers when I was a child - their names were Fatty and Stumpy. The third was an unnamed sibling who died a few days after being found.
Dogs are a serious threat to wildlife, and need to be monitored. It is a natural instinct to hunt, but that doesn't mean we need to allow it.
