The one I care about,
Has left my side forever.
While she is off with another guy,
I sit there broken.
Today was the day I died.
My friend,
The one and only friend,
Has stabbed me in the back.
As she is standing there mocking me,
I sit there tear-stricken.
Today was the day I died.
My parents,
The only ones who cared about me,
Disowned me.
While they were pushing me out the door,
I walked out emotionless.
And yet I try to forget the bad things.
I remember all the good things in my life,
Like winning the five-mile marathon,
The vacation in New York,
And my first kiss.
With these memories,
You think I would look forward to life.
But I do not.
All I see are the bad things in life.
I sometimes wonder why,
All of this happens to me.
Why do I still try to stay alive?
