Description
     Rain poured from the heavens, dripping from the leaves of every tree. As the sea was splashing up against the rock cliff, the waves increased in size and acceleration, giving off a sense of turmoil. Seagulls were flying lazily over the cliff, squawking dully into the wind. A teenage boy was sitting on the cliff, letting the rain and the seawater splash across his face. He was crying, but it was unnoticeable from the wind blowing the rain in his face. His clothes were getting soaked from the rain, the spraying seawater and every teardrop… he wasn't wearing a coat. He shivered and started hugging himself to keep warm. A few more tears streamed from his silver eyes, but he just wiped them away without a care. The wind was blowing the rain into the boy's face, but he ignored it. His platinum blonde hair was tickling his nose making him sneeze. He moved his hair out of his face and continued to look at the horizon.
     On the inside his body was like the weather: sad, dull. His heart was in excruciating pain. Memories kept popping up into his head, but he would try and repress them, not wanting to remember what happened. But no matter how hard he tried, they kept reappearing.
     Tired of the sea splashing in his face, he got up and started walking to the forest behind him. One memory that kept appearing in his mind was one of a beautiful, green fields filled with patches of tulips and daisies spread through out as far as the eyes could see. With all of his mind power, he sent the image away. But when he walked into the forest, he didn't know that someone was following him. While walking through the woods, the atmosphere became dark and eerie. While the forest was getting dense with trees, he could still see what was ahead of him. As he kept walking, someone kept following him, staying at least ten feet away from him.
     After walking in the woods for an hour, the boy finally reached a small lake hidden in the forest. It stopped raining when he reached the lake, a little puzzled on why it stopped raining. Just standing on the edge of the lake, he stared at his reflection in the body of water. For a while he stood there, thinking of some events that didn't happen so long ago. 'Why can I not get rid of that stupid image in my head?' he thought.
     Picking up some rocks, he continued the conversation in his head. 'I was told that it couldn't work right now, but I can't stop thinking about it. I can't stop feeling hurt about it. I try and try to forget about it, but it just finds a way to torment me more and more,' the boy thought.
     With the rocks in his hand, he started skipping them over the lake. As the stranger caught up with the boy, they hid behind a thick tree a few feet away from him. It was female, but there was something different about her. Something about her presence seemed unnatural. While skipping the last rock in his hand, he thought, 'I will not be hurt by this feeling anymore. I'm just going to have to get over it. I have to get over-'
     Before he could finish his train of thought, he heard a snap come from a few feet away from him. Looking around, the boy tried to find where the sound came from. During that time, the girl hid inside a human-size hole in the tree she was hiding behind. It was her fault for the snapping sound, stepping on a stick. After about fifteen seconds of looking, the boy shrugged it off and started taking his shoes off.
     As the girl slowly crawled out of the tree, she looked around it in time to find the boy taking off his shirt and leap into the lake. A few seconds later, the boy broke the surface of the water gasping for air. She hid behind the tree to make sure he didn't see her. He then floated on the surface, his mind somehow finally at ease. When the girl peered from around the tree, she saw the boy floating on the surface. She could see the water beading on his medium-framed torso. His silver eyes were gleaming from the light of the twilit sky. For some reason, she had this strange feeling for him which she couldn't resist. She had to say something, she had to meet him. She stepped from the cover of the tree and stood at the edge of the lake.
