Description This is a passion flower that was in bloom in my backyard this past summer. I'm not an expert on flowers myself, but I do know that it is very beautiful and very photogenic. Apparently they're only in bloom for a few days every year, so I was lucky to get it when I did. I used the 'vivid' filter on my Canon for this one, and it looked the best of the dozen or so that I took.

This came out well. They are difficult to focus on, because of the very raised section in the centre, making for difficult depth of field.
