Oh wow. I absolutely love the contrasting here. Only you could make something so dark but so warm somehow. But it's like a warmth through a cold pane of window glass. A sliver of sunlight through mist. And your people... always seen before they can get their public mask up. Temporarily unarmed by some errant thought. Great work.

I think your articulate comment is way more than this study from reference deserves. I didn't think that much while painting it. )

I shall interpret your "I didn't think that much while painting it. )" statement as a valiant leap into the world of the subconcious from wherein you plucked this skillful piece from the abyss of ones scattered neural network and then proceeded to coalesce the ethereal from the non material till it gathered enough particulate matter to then be able to be seen by the rest of us.
